Insta Famous Pets

I have been handed more dog business cards in the past three years than I could’ve ever possibly imagined. Everyone is trying to ride the coattails of their dog’s fame, believing their pup to be the cutest of them all. And you know what? They’re right! So I thought it’d be nice to give a few Do’s and Don’t’s for your dog’s Instagram feed.

DO: FIND A FUN NAME

Rhyming is always nice, like Doug the Pug. But if you really want to shine, puns are always the way to go, like Corgnelious and Stumphrey.

Doug the pug is the king of pop culture! From music videos to photo shoots, this pugs Instagram does not disappoint! See what Doug is up to @itsdougthepug

DON’T: INCLUDE PHOTOS OF ANYONE BUT THE DOG

We’re looking at their feed for one thing, doggo cuteness.

DO: ADD SOME PERSONALITY

Check out this dapper good boy. Stylin’!

Check out Bodhi @mensweardog on Instagram. Self proclaimed most stylish dog in the world (and I agree!)

DON’T: HOLD BACK ON THE COSTUMES

I mean… look at this sweater.

The Bob Ross of Dogs @poochofnyc

DO: WRITE FUN CAPTIONS

It’ll take those cute pics to the next level. Right, Samson?

Samson's page is witty and downright adorable. If you're looking for style and humor, than look no further @samsonthedood

DON’T: LISTEN TO ANYONE WHO SAYS YOU POST TOO MANY DOG PICTURES

It’s impossible.

Sincerely,

Dr. Rose
